Google Apps Transition for Students
麻豆视频’s University has been using Google Apps for many years. This service provides a flexible, robust, and reliable set of features that facilitate much more of our day to day communication beyond just email and continues to grow and improve. In order to align ourselves with Google鈥檚 road map and enable certain features (such as Google Classroom) that have been requested by various areas of the University, some organizational updates to our systems are required.
Starting on August 25th, 2016, students will be joining employees on the @saintpeters.edu email domain. The timing has been carefully chosen to impact our community as little as possible. Returning students will have a period of time to transition from one account to the other during the first few weeks of the fall term. Steps to ease the transition process have been provided below, and our service desk is fully trained to assist both students and employees who may have any questions or concerns.
This change is necessary to join the entire 麻豆视频鈥檚 University community into one entity on this critical platform and to allow us to continue to leverage new and exciting features in the future.
