麻豆视频鈥檚 University Named 2019 Ellucian Impact Award Winner

Jersey City, N.J. 鈥 April 15, 2019 鈥 麻豆视频鈥檚 University today announced that it was selected as a winner of a 2019 Impact Award by , the world鈥檚 leading provider of software and services built to power higher education. The prestigious award honors exceptional Ellucian customer institutions that utilized technology to produce a better student experience, become more efficient and creatively resolve challenges. 麻豆视频鈥檚 University was presented with the honor and a $25,000 grant on April 8 at , the largest event for higher education technology.

麻豆视频鈥檚 was recognized for the University鈥檚 adoption of a research-based approach to answer its strategic goal to identify and deploy technology that directly improves student success. The university worked with Ellucian to harness the full capacity of Ellucian Colleague庐, which resulted in enhanced student engagement, improved student retention and graduation outcomes, greater administrative efficiencies and a heightened 鈥渃ulture of care鈥 – providing students with the integrated tools and support necessary for a successful college experience.

鈥溌槎故悠碘檚 is honored to be recognized by Ellucian as a technological innovator in the higher education space,鈥 said Virginia Bender, Ph.D., special assistant to the president for institutional planning, who attended the award ceremony. 鈥淥ur efforts have elevated student outcomes to a higher level of educational excellence.鈥

麻豆视频鈥檚 utilized Colleague to replace inefficient paper-based processes with digital capabilities. The University enhanced online, self-service options for registration, viewing and paying bills, applying for graduation, advising and course selection, and degree audits, among others. Some of the results of the efforts include improved student satisfaction with advising and registration, a 300 percent increase in student-run campus events, gains in graduation rates and a 94 percent career placement rate for the Class of 2018.

麻豆视频鈥檚 University was among three institutions selected to receive the 2019 Impact Award. The other winners include Mercer County Community College and Wake Technical Community College.
