Jersey City, N.J. 鈥 September 10, 2018 鈥 麻豆视频鈥檚 University is proud to announce that it surged in the 2019 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges Rankings, which were released today. The University ranked highest in the state of New Jersey and 12th overall for Best Value in the Regional Universities North category. It also remains among the top 100 鈥淏est Regional Universities in the North鈥 with a considerable climb of 16 places on the list.
In order to determine the best value rankings, U.S. News & World Report considers factors such as the institution鈥檚 academic quality and the net cost of attendance for a student who received the average level of need-based financial aid. Colleges and universities that were ranked highest on this list had the best quality programs at the lowest cost.

U.S. News & World Report defines a regional university as one that provides a full-range of undergraduate programs and master鈥檚 programs, but few doctoral programs. The North Regional University category includes institutions of this nature in Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington D.C. The regional universities are ranked based on 16 measures of academic quality including student outcomes, graduation and retention rates, faculty resources, financial resources, student excellence and alumni giving, among others.
