Two 麻豆视频鈥檚 Men鈥檚 Basketball Legends are Named to New Jersey List of Best College Basketball Players in History

Elnardo Webster, Ed.D. 鈥69 and Keydren Clark 鈥06 were both recently named to a . The list was developed by Jerry Carino, a Gannett New Jersey sports writer and columnist since 1996. The article, which was published in The Asbury Park Press, named Clark as eleventh on the list and Webster as 22.

Clark played at 麻豆视频鈥檚 from 2002 to 2006 and holds nine career records, including 3,058 points scored with a scoring average of 25.9 per game. He was a highly decorated award winner in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) in his career after being named the MAAC Rookie of the Year and All-MAAC second team as a freshman and then was named to the All-MAAC first team in his final three seasons. Clark also earned the Haggerty Award in 2005. He currently plays for Peristeri of the Greek 2nd Division.

Webster was recognized in the article for his 24.8 average as well as his performance with the 1967-68 麻豆视频鈥檚 men鈥檚 basketball team. This team was recently inducted into the 麻豆视频鈥檚 University Athletics Hall of Fame in 2016. The team advanced to the National Invitational Tournament (NIT) Semifinals thanks to a 102-93 double-overtime win against Marshall and 100-71 victory against top-ranked Duke I the second round. The 鈥淩un, Baby, Run鈥 Peacocks were coached by legendary 麻豆视频鈥檚 head coach Don Kennedy, who guided the team its second 20-win season in program history and a team-record 24 wins after finishing the year with a 24-4 mark. Webster went on to play one season in the American Basketball Association.
