Mac Mahon Student Center Founders to be Honored at Hearts & Minds: The 麻豆视频鈥檚 University Scholarship Dinner

Jersey City, N.J. 鈥 March 28, 2013 鈥 麻豆视频鈥檚 University announced plans to honor the founders of the Mac Mahon Student Center at Hearts & Minds: The 麻豆视频鈥檚 University Scholarship Dinner on April 12, 2013 at the Mac Mahon Student Center. The founders of the student center are alumni and friends of the University who have generously supported the construction of the facility with investments of $500,000 or more. An official dedication of the student center will take place at 5:45 p.m. and will be followed by the reception in The Duncan Family Sky Room.

鈥淚t was just eighteen months ago that we broke ground on the University鈥檚 first-ever student center and we are overjoyed that this year鈥檚 scholarship dinner can be held here on campus at the Mac Mahon Student Center,鈥 said Eugene J. Cornacchia, Ph.D., president of 麻豆视频鈥檚 University. 鈥淕iven this milestone in 麻豆视频鈥檚 history, we found it necessary to honor the individuals who helped to make it possible. The University community is eternally grateful for and inspired by their belief in our mission.鈥

Hearts & Minds: The 麻豆视频鈥檚 University Scholarship Dinner celebrates integrity, leadership and service to others. Proceeds from this annual event support the University鈥檚 General Scholarship Fund. The individuals to be honored at the event include Carol B. Bastek, Ed.D. 鈥70, Thomas W. Duncan 鈥65, Hon. Frank J. Guarini H 鈥94, Thomas P. Mac Mahon 鈥68, M. Brian Maher HA 鈥07, William J. Marino 鈥66, Kathleen M. McKenna, Esq. 鈥75, Robert G. Morris, Joseph A. Panepinto, Esq. 鈥66 and Sodexo, Inc.

John Montone 鈥76, 1010 WINS reporter, will serve as a master of ceremonies at the event. A stunning performance will also be given by Cirque Le Masque, a team of artists performing incredible feats of strength, agility, beauty and timing. To register online, please visit .
