Jersey City, N.J. – Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s College today signed an agreement with Drexel University College of Medicine and Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s University Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J., officially beginning a B.A./M.D. program. The B.A./M.D. program is designed to provide qualified undergraduates at Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s College with early acceptance to Drexel University College of Medicine and invaluable research experience while working with physicians at Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s University Hospital.
Highly qualified, undergraduate premedical students will be conditionally admitted to the program as sophomores. After having satisfied program requirements, including a clinical educational research experience at Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s University Hospital, and upon graduating from Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s College, students will enter Drexel University College of Medicine. As medical students, a portion of their clinical clerkship and clinical rotation experiences will be completed at Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s University Hospital.

The program will be available to Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s College students in the fall of 2012.
