Jersey City, N.J. – The Brandon Tierney Show on 1050 ESPN Radio will broadcast live from the Pavonia Room on Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s College Jersey City campus on Thursday, January 28, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The live broadcast is in conjunction with Tierney’s College Basketball Campus Tour 2010, and with Spirit Week at Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s College. At 7:00 p.m., the Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s men’s basketball team will host two-time defending Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Champion, Siena, at the Yanitelli Center.
"We are excited to have Brandon and 1050 ESPN Radio coming to our campus," said Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s College Director of Athletics Patrick Elliott. "This will be one of the many highlights of Spirit Week and a great opportunity to spread the word about the exciting things happening at Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s College."
Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s is the second stop on Tierney’s Campus Tour, as he will also visit eight other schools in the metroplitan area. Tierney played baseball at Marist, which is another school in the MAAC. He will be available for an information session with students following the broadcast.
The live broadcast is part of Spirit Week at Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s College, which includes a variety of activities leading up to the men’s basketball game against Siena, as well as the men’s basketball game on Sunday, January 24, at 2:00 p.m. against Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s longtime rival Manhattan. Sunday’s game will be televised nationally on ESPNU.
