Jersey City — Senator and Democratic Presidential candidate Barack Obama will hold a rally at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ’s College Wednesday, January 9 at the Yanitelli Recreational Life Center.
“Sen. Obama is the latest in a long series of historic figures to choose to speak at St. Peter’s College,” said Dr. Eugene J. Cornacchia, President, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ’s College. “We welcome him as we would welcome any presidential candidate who wishes to discuss and debate the ideas and events that are shaping our history.”
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ’s College is the Jesuit College of New Jersey. Founded in 1872, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ’s has an enrollment of approximately 3,000 students in undergraduate and graduate programs. The main campus is located in Jersey City. The College has a branch campus in Englewood Cliffs, NJ and also offers courses at various corporate sites at the Jersey City waterfront and in South Amboy.
