Jersey City – Fifty High School Students from various high schools participated in the Summer Scholar Program at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ’s College. The Summer Scholars classes met from July 9 to August 9 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. – noon. The classes were conducted on a colloquium model: a one-day general meeting each Monday followed by two days of individual class meetings. Summer scholars from the following courses: Human Cytogenetics, Civilization and Disease, The Psychology of Drama, and The Epic: Ancient and Modern. At the general meetings, students listened to lectures and performances covering a broad range of disciplines.
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ’s College is the Jesuit College of New Jersey. Founded in 1872, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ’s has an enrollment of approximately 3,000 students in undergraduate and graduate programs.
