New full-time faculty members for the 2005-2006 academic year.

Jersey City, NJ (August 22, 2005) Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ’s College welcomes nine new full-time faculty members for the 2005-2006 academic year. They are:

* Vishwa Adluri, Ph.D., The New School, in the Philosophy Department. He is currently writing a book entitled “Return from Transcendence.”

* Kristina Chew, Ph.D., Yale University , in the Modern & Classical Languages Department. She recently published “Translation of Virgil’s Georgics” and specializes in comparative literature.

* James Clayton, Ed.D., Nova Southeastern University, in the Education Department. His areas of emphasis are curriculum and program development.

* Jessica Epstein-Toney, Ph.D., University of Maryland , in the Chemistry Department. She earned a teaching research fellowship from Harvard University and a grant from the National Institutes of Health.

 * Maria Graziano, Ph.D., Columbia University , in the Modern & Classical Languages Department. She recently taught Italian literature at the University of Naples and Lycée Francais.

* Charles Smith, Ed.D., Fordham University , in the Education Department. He is the former superintendent of Palisades Park Public Schools.

* Jose Lopez, Ph.D., Stevens Institute, in the Physics Department. He is a graduate of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ’s and has conducted extensive research in physics.

* Alex Trillo, Ph.D., SUNY-Stony Brook, in the Sociology Department. He received a grant to develop a Latino Studies Program.

* Cynthia Walker, Ph.D., Rutgers University , in the Communications Department. She is the former associate director of the media studies program at Rutgers.

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ’s College is the Jesuit College of New Jersey. Founded in 1872, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ’s has an enrollment of approximately 3,000 students in undergraduate and graduate programs. The main campus is located in Jersey City . The College has a branch campus for adults in Englewood Cliffs and also offers courses at various corporate sites at the Jersey City waterfront and in South Amboy.
