Class of 2002 to Hold Flagpole memorial Dedication on Saturday
September 10, 2002– The Class of 2002 will hold its Flagpole Memorial Dedication on Saturday, September 14th, 2002 at 12:30 p.m., just prior to the Women’s Soccer game against Delaware State University. The pole will be dedicated to those from the Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s community that were lost on September 11th.
Edward Heavey, S.J. will bless the memorial, Bill Stein from Athletics will say a few words on behalf of the Athletic Department and Tara Collins, the 2002 Class President will present the College with the flag. The Senior Class raised over $4,700. Several alumni and parents contributed to the effort and a total of 118 people contributed to the fund. The Women’s Soccer game will then kickoff at 1:00.
The Women’s Soccer team is also holding their Annual Alumni and Family Day Reunion on the 14th. Contact Erin Fitzgerald at x9108 for more on those events.
