The Accountancy and Business Law Department and the Business Law Association hosted its 6th Annual Women’s Empowerment Day, which is open to all students, at 麻豆视频鈥檚 University on 3/14/19. Presentations were given by the Hon. Carmen M. Garcia, former Chief Judge of Trenton Municipal Court; Captain Jean O鈥橞rien, recently retired Captain of the United States Navy; Joyce H. Rogina, Esq., Senior Legal Counsel, Barnes & Noble Education Inc.; and Cynthia Matheke, Esq., Trial Attorney: 鈥淪uper Lawyer鈥 & 鈥淭op 50 Female Lawyers in NJ鈥. The event was moderated by Lori Ann Buza, Esq., chair of the accountancy and business law department. The day-long event concluded with a self-defense workshop taught by Buza.
