Jersey City, N.J.\u00a0\u2013 November 30, 2020 \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s University is proud to announce that it was ranked among the best in the state of New Jersey by\u00a0NJBIZ<\/em>\u00a0readers in the\u00a02020 NJBIZ Reader Rankings\u00a0<\/em><\/a>survey. Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s was ranked first in the Best Accounting Degree Program category, second in the Best Colleges\/Universities category and third in the Best M.B.A. Program category.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is an honor to once again be recognized by NJBIZ<\/em> in its annual Reader Rankings<\/em> as a leader in higher education,\u201d said Eugene J. Cornacchia, Ph.D., president of Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s University. \u201cThis honor would not be possible without the support of our students, alumni, faculty and staff. They are our biggest champions.\u201d<\/p>\n

The\u00a0NJBIZ Reader Rankings<\/em>\u00a0award program began in 2017 and was designed to recognize the regard that\u00a0NJBIZ<\/em>\u00a0readers have for the businesses in their communities. The annual survey features more than 60 categories and identifies leaders in a variety of industries ranging from banking, finance, insurance, education, health care, philanthropy, real estate and more. Three winners are selected in each category based on the number of votes that are received by\u00a0NJBIZ<\/em>\u00a0readers.<\/p>\n

The latest rankings not only reflect positively on the University as a whole, but also on the new Frank J. Guarini School of Business and its M.B.A. and accountancy programs.<\/p>\n

The M.B.A. program offers courses that are available on-campus, online and in hybrid formats. The program can be completed in as little as 18 months and features personalized advisement throughout, faculty who are industry experts, small class sizes and the ability to transfer or waive credits from prior coursework.<\/p>\n

The accountancy program has earned a reputation for developing accomplished graduates in one of the greatest business regions in the country, the New York\/New Jersey metropolitan area. Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s offers a five-year combined B.S.\/M.S. degree in accountancy and a certificate program that enables students who have completed an undergraduate major in accountancy to earn the additional credits needed to sit for the CPA exam.<\/p>\n
