\"\"<\/a>Jersey City, N.J. \u2013 April 22, 2020 \u2013<\/strong> Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s University is proud to announce that it was selected as one of 123 colleges and universities in the nation for the 2020 Transfer Honor Roll by the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society. This honor was given in recognition of Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s dynamic pathways that support transfer students.<\/p>\n

Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s has a transfer-friendly credit policy that is designed to help students bring in as many credits as possible towards their bachelor\u2019s degree. The University regularly offers Transfer Days in which students can meet one-on-one with an academic dean in their respective program, receive a full credit evaluation, meet with a representative from the Office of Financial Aid, tour campus and even register for classes. Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s also has academic articulations with a wide range of community colleges in New Jersey that simplify the transfer process.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s University we understand that the path to a bachelor\u2019s degree is different for every student and we are determined to make that path as smooth as possible for all students, including transfer students,\u201d said Elizabeth Sullivan, vice president of enrollment management and marketing at Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s University. \u201cWe are honored to be included in the 2020 Transfer Honor Roll and we hope it will inspire more transfer students to explore Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s options when it comes to continuing their education.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Transfer Honor Roll recognizes four-year colleges and universities that have developed transfer pathways that lead to excellence and success among community college transfer students. Colleges were selected based on their Transfer Friendliness Rating, which is determined by the Transfer Profile they create in PTK Connect. PTK Connect<\/a> is Phi Theta Kappa\u2019s online tool that helps students find their best-fit colleges, career pathways and more. Students can search for colleges by name, scholarship offerings or cost, and they can use the institutions\u2019 profiles to help evaluate where they\u2019d like to enroll.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Transfer Honor Roll reflects the growing importance of recognizing and responding to the needs of transfer students,\u201d said Phi Theta Kappa President and CEO Dr. Lynn Tincher-Ladner. \u201cThis award is given to four-year colleges and universities with proven outcomes for transfer success. They are the best at providing a supportive and smooth transition from community college \u2014 equating to increased rates of bachelor\u2019s degree attainment for transfer students.\u201d<\/p>\n
