The culmination of the Goldman Sachs College Collaborative Program was held earlier this month at the Goldman Sachs world headquarters in Manhattan. Ten Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s University juniors and seniors took part in the program, which was integrated into business school curriculum. Over the course of the last five months, students from Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s as well as New Jersey City University, Hudson County Community College and Borough of Manhattan College took part in this highly competitive and unique program. Under the guidance of faculty adviser and course instructor Professor Ray Butkus and Goldman Sachs mentors and alumni Jim Conti ’93 and David Watson ’14, the students solved business case problems, received career advice, attended executive presentations and were exposed to senior business leaders.<\/p>\n

Students developed recommendations for a series of business challenges faced by a selected company. These challenges related to finance, marketing, logistics and public relations. The final recommendations were presented to a mock board of directors made up of senior Goldman Sachs executives. The Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s team’s recommendation included presentations by all 10 team members both live and on video. They were highly commended by Goldman Sachs executives\"\" regarding the quality of their presentation and sophistication of their recommendations.<\/p>\n

Meredith Przybocki ’17 Discusses Millennial Marketing StrategiesÂ鶹ÊÓƵ’s involvement in the program was facilitated by the Center for Career Engagement and Experiential Learning (CEEL), under the leadership of Laura Pakhmanov, MHRM, \u00a0and coordinated by Taina Cutler \u201914.<\/p>\n

Students participating included \u00a0Nicholas Brown ’17, Anica Bustamante ’18, Thomas Calloni ’18, Dominic Diaz ’17, James Hall ’18, Claudia Hellman ’17, Madel Liquido ’18, Natzuki Pozo ’17, Meredith Przybocki ’17 and Nicholas\u00a0Riepe ’17.<\/p>\n
