It is part of Google\u2019s <em>Get Your Business Online<\/em> program, which aims to bring community members, business owners and civic leaders together to help small businesses succeed on the web. The workshop will be bilingual, and will include sessions on making a business more searchable on Google, email marketing, Constant Contact and digital media marketing. It is open to students, faculty, staff, entrepreneurs and the community. Luis De La Hoz, vice president of the Intersect Fund and vice chair of the New Jersey Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Board, will serve as the keynote speaker and workshop providers include <a href=\"https:\/\/starfishglobal.com\/\">Starfish Global<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.provident4women.com\/\">Provident4Women<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.socialvibesmedia.com\/\">Social Media Vibes<\/a>. The event was made possible through the support of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.providentnjfoundation.org\/\">The Provident Bank Foundation<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/silvermanbuilding.com\/\">SILVERMAN<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0Google Women TechMakers: April 3, 12:00 \u2013 4:00 p.m., McIntyre Conference Center<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This annual conference promotes women in technology with seminars, giveaways, workshops and more. The event is co-sponsored by Google Women TechMakers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Town and Gown Reception: April 25, 5:00 p.m. \u2013 7:30 p.m., The Duncan Family Sky Room<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Town &amp; Gown Project is a collaborative program supported by the business department at Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s University and the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce. During the semester, students enrolled in a senior business seminar serve as marketing consultants to small business members of the Chamber. The major goal of this initiative is to provide consulting experience to senior business students while also providing marketing insights to small business owners. Students present their projects to the University at this annual event and a panel of judges select a winning group.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Local Entrepreneurs Mother\u2019s Day Pop-Up: May 4, 10:00 a.m. \u2013 4:00 p.m. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Local entrepreneurs will be selling jewelry, dolls, natural body products, clothing, food and more. Support our local community and shop small for Mother\u2019s Day. This event is being held in partnership with campus ministry and will showcase Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s University student consulting teams.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Export 101: Exporting and International Trade: May 5, 8:00 a.m. \u2013 5:00 p.m., McIntyre Conference Center<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This seminar is targeted for small business and will explore topics such as exporting and international business expansion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Local Living Economy Summit: May 12, 7:30 a.m. \u2013 4:00 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This all-day summit is focused on economic empowerment, business, entrepreneurship and public policy.
