More than 40 students at Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s University were recently inducted into the Chi Alpha Epsilon National Honor Society.On Thursday, November 19, family, friends and faculty gathered in the McIntyre Conference Center to celebrate the inductees as they were formally pinned and became official members of the Society.<\/p>\n

The Beta Pi chapter of Chi Alpha Epsilon was chartered at Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s in 2003 by the Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF). The Chi Alpha Epsilon National Honor Society recognizes the academic achievements of students admitted to colleges and universities through opportunity programs and requires members to attain a 3.0 or better for two consecutive semesters.<\/p>\n

The inductees were: Shahroze Ahmad ’17, Hamza Akmal ’18, Natalia Amaya ’18, Nimit Amin ’17, Tawanda Aquino ’17, Jennifer Baez ’18, Kirstie-Amber Baquiran ’17, Dolly Basaldua ’17, Atia Batool ’18, Cristian Blanco ’16, Darlene Cabrera-Santos ’16, Yaneisy Carmona ’17, Monica Casariego ’18, Jennifer Correa ’18, Jacques Eliscat ’18, Margaret Figueroa ’18, Annabel Francisco ’17, Marlin Garcia ’17, Jennifer Germain ’18, Onel Gonzalez ’18, Jailyn Jaquez ’18, Marie Kadji ’18, Shahrose Kahlon ’17, Ericka Leynes ’18, Kelvin Lopez ’17, Xavier Lopez ’18, Katie Majano ’17, Fareeha Malik ’18, Emily McCourt ’17, Kevin Olaya ’17, Thomas Ormsby ’18, Brittany Ortiz ’18, Tisha Park ’18, Daniela Perez ’17, Marie Ricca ’16, Milagros Robinson ’18, Briana Roberts ’16, Alana Rodriguez ’18, Melissa Romeo ’18, Brennan Rowe ’17, Nicholas Schroeder ’17, Karl Syffrard ’17, Norky Torres ’18, Yamelkis Vasquez ’17, Jose Villa ’18 and Cintya Villacis ’16.<\/p>\n

In addition, Alexis Agosto, junior and senior academic counselor of the\u00a0EOF program, was inducted as an honorary member.<\/p>\n
