Aileen Grace P. Arriola, M.D. \u201907, will be presented with the Rising Star Award; Robert A. Cutro \u201975, will be presented with the Professional Achievement Award; and Charles J. Vickers \u201947, will be presented with the Loyalty to <i>Alma Mater<\/i> Award. <i>Hearts &amp; Minds<\/i> celebrates integrity, leadership and service to others. Proceeds from this annual event support the University\u2019s General Scholarship Fund.<\/p>\n<p>Arriola currently serves as a resident in pathology for the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She previously served as a research assistant in the pediatrics department for the Robert Wood Johnson AIDS Program. Cutro retired as an executive floor official member of New York Stock Exchange Euronext Inc. and NYSE floor broker for Barclays Capital Inc. He also serves as a member of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s University Board of Trustees. Vickers established the Vickers Organic Chemistry Lab and The Charles J. Vickers \u201947 and Anne B. Vickers Tissue Culture Facility at Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s University. He is also a generous supporter of the Mac Mahon Student Center.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll of the achievements Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s has accomplished over the years would not have been possible without the impressive individuals who make up the University community,\u201d said Eugene J. Cornacchia, Ph.D., president of Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s University. \u201cThe <i>Hearts &amp; Minds<\/i> annual scholarship celebration enables us to not only thank the people who have done so much for the University, but to make it possible for new students to continue Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s legacy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Special musical guest, Tim McLoone and the Shirleys, are also scheduled to perform at the event.
