After a long and arduous winter, Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s University started off the season with \u201cFull Spring Ahead!\u201d Representatives from the Office of Advancement and External Affairs diligently dialed phone numbers to acquire gifts for a campaign designed to gain 500 donors in 50 hours \u2013 from March 20-March 22. During these three days, loyal supporters of the University truly answered the call as the event exceeded original targets, with a final count of 525 donors and more than $115,425 raised for the University.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis campaign was completely exhilarating,\u201d said Manager of Annual Giving Donna Lindsey. \u201cI am overjoyed that so many people supported the University in this historic campaign. It was a team effort, and the generosity we have all seen from this outpouring of support is inspiring.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to donors giving generously over the phone, gifts were also received from Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s University students, staff and faculty. Postcards and emails were sent to potential donors before the event announcing that gifts of any size can help provide scholarships to deserving students and upgraded software for computer labs throughout campus, as well as support other areas of need. Thank you to everyone who participated.<\/p>\n

Despite the success of this remarkable campaign, the University still needs your help. By making a tax deductible gift before June 30, 2014 \u2013 the end of the University\u2019s fiscal year \u2013 you can ensure that students will continue to have access to the quality, memorable and character building experiences provided by a Jesuit education.<\/p>\n
