On May 29, Eugene Flinn \u201980 and his wife Joyce opened the doors to their Hoboken restaurant Amanda\u2019s to more than 100 alumni, faculty, administrators and friends of Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s University. All guests were treated to a five course dinner with wine pairings, compliments of the co-owners, with all ticket sales directly benefiting St. Aedan\u2019s: The Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s University Church.<\/p>\n
\u201cÂ鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s University is grateful for the generosity and support of all of our alumni and friends,\u201d said Eugene J. Cornacchia, Ph.D., president of Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s University. \u201cGifts from generous donors, such as Eugene and Joyce, help us to maintain critical components of our mission and achieve our goals. We hope that their belief in our mission will inspire others to connect with Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s.\u201d<\/p>\n
The evening provided an opportunity for former classmates to unite and for new friendships to be formed. Guests were even treated to an impromptu rendition of Io Pavo, which was performed by former members of the Glee Club that were in attendance.<\/p>\n
