Jersey City, N.J. –<\/strong> Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s University today announced the availability of tuition discounts for administrators and teachers from Catholic schools in the tri-state area and undergraduate scholarships for tri-state area Catholic high school graduates. These awards are available for the undergraduate degree programs, the master’s degree program in education and non-degree certification programs in the School of Education.  <\/p>\n

Administrators and teachers from K-12 Catholic schools in the tri-state area are eligible for tuition discounts valued as high as 50 percent for a master’s degree in education or for non-degree certification programs in the School of Education. Generous undergraduate scholarships will be available for incoming freshmen in the 2013-2014 academic year if the applicant graduated from a Catholic high school in the tri-state area and has met the academic pre-requisites for the merit award.<\/p>\n

“A Catholic education is designed to instill moral values and promote compassion while maintaining a focus on the individual needs of students,” said Jeffrey Handler, vice president for enrollment and marketing at Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s University. “Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s upholds the Jesuit tradition of cura personalis<\/em>, or care for the whole person, and has the mission to educate learners to lead ethically and serve compassionately. The experience of learning and working in a Catholic institution make these likeminded individuals a great fit for the University. We believe these students are likely to succeed and thrive at Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s.”  <\/p>\n
