Jersey City – All are invited to The Pope Lecture Hall on Friday, 10\/12\/07 at 11:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. and 12:30 – 2 p.m. to view screen clips and listen to award-winning filmmakers and Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s College graduates, Marylou Tibaldo and Jerome Bongiorno, Class of ’84, discuss their documentary film, Revolution ’67. <\/em>The film premiered this summer at the Newark Film Festival and nationally on PBS.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

The husband-and-wife team’s production company, Bongiorno Productions, has also produced the Emmy-nominated documentary, Mother Tongue: Italian American Sons and Mothers<\/em>, featuring Martin Scorsese, which was screened at the 2006 Venice Film Festival.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s College <\/span>President<\/span> Eugene J. Cornacchia, Ph.D., will introduce the filmmakers at the <\/span>11 a.m.<\/span> presentation.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

This program is sponsored by the Departments of Urban Studies, Sociology and Political Science, the Office of Multicultural Affairs and the Social Justice Program.  <\/span>Faculty who wish to bring their classes should contact Dr. David Surrey<\/a> for a copy of the Revolution ’67 film to show their classes before coming to the event. <\/span><\/p>\n
