Jersey City – Fifty High School Students from various high schools participated in the Summer Scholar Program at Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s College. The Summer Scholars classes met from July 9 to August 9 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. – noon.  The classes were conducted on a colloquium model: a one-day general meeting each Monday followed by two days of individual class meetings.  Summer scholars from the following courses:  Human Cytogenetics, Civilization<\/em> and Disease<\/em>, The Psychology of Drama<\/em>, and The Epic<\/em>: Ancient and Modern<\/em>.  At the general meetings, students listened to lectures and performances covering a broad range of disciplines.<\/div>\n

Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s College is the Jesuit College of New Jersey.  Founded in 1872, Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s has an enrollment of approximately 3,000 students in undergraduate and graduate programs.  The main campus is located in Jersey City.  The College has a branch campus for adults in Englewood Cliffs, NJ and also offers courses at various corporate sites at the Jersey City waterfront and in South Amboy, NJ.<\/div>\n
