Dr. Emmanuel Navon To Speak About Arab-Israli Conflict<\/FONT><\/B><\/P> Septmeber 18, 2002<\/FONT><\/I>— Jersey City, NJ – Dr. Emmanel Navon, a member of the Tel- Aviv University faculty and a political consultant will speak about the Arab-Israeli conflict at Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s College on Thursday, September 26 at 11 a.m. He will talk in the Pope Hall Lecture Theater on the College’s Jersey City campus. The event is free and open to the public.<\/FONT><\/FONT><\/P> Dr. Navon, who was born and raised in Paris, has taught political science courses in Israel at Tel Aviv University, Bar-Ilan University and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem since 1996, three years after his graduation for the Institut D-Etudes Politiques de Paris. He has also worked for the last several years to assist Israeli political ministers, diplomats and Jewish community leaders in providing Israel\u201as point-of-view in discussing Arab-Israeli issues with the foreign media.<\/FONT><\/P> The event is sponsored by Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u201as Guarini Center for International and Public Affairs and the College\u201as Peace and Justice Program. The Guarini Center for Governmental Affairs was established in 1994 to provide a non-partisan forum for the thoughtful discussion of public policy issues and to interest students in pursuing careers in public service.<\/FONT><\/P> Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s College is the Jesuit College of New Jersey.
