Unlike traditional rankings that focus primarily on wealth and prestige, <em>Washington Monthly<\/em> evaluates colleges based on their contribution to the public good in three broad categories: social mobility, research and promoting public service.<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saintpeters.edu\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/1\/files\/2025\/09\/Washington-Monthly-Badge-2025.png\" width=\"214\" height=\"214\" class=\" alignright\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>The Washington Monthly<\/em> rankings underscore the qualities that set Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s apart,\u201d said Hubert Benitez, D.D.S., Ph.D., president of Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s University. \u201cWe are proud to be recognized for opening doors of opportunity, supporting students through to graduation, preparing them for meaningful careers and inspiring them to serve their communities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>National Recognition Across Key Categories<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Top 20 in the Nation for Best Hispanic-Serving Institutions: <\/strong>Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s was ranked 20th nationally among HSIs, first in New Jersey and third in the Northeast, reflecting the University\u2019s dedication to serving Hispanic students and fostering an inclusive learning environment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Top Master\u2019s Universities:<\/strong> Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s placed 44th nationally among master\u2019s institutions, a category that evaluates colleges based on social mobility, research and community service.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Best Bang for Your Buck:<\/strong> In recognition of its affordability and return on investment, Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s was ranked among the top 50 in the Northeast, 6th in New Jersey and second among private universities on the \u201cBest Bang for Your Buck\u201d list. This category highlights schools that provide students from all backgrounds with the highest value education at the most affordable cost.<\/p>\n<p>Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s University has consistently earned national recognition for providing an education that changes lives and strengthens communities.
