This service provides a flexible, robust, and reliable set of features that facilitate much more of our day to day communication beyond just email and continues to grow and improve. In order to align ourselves with Google\u2019s road map and enable certain features (such as Google Classroom) that have been requested by various areas of the University, some organizational updates to our systems are required.<\/p>\n<p>Starting on August 25th, 2016, students will be joining employees on the <a href=\"mailto:service@saintpeters.edu\" target=\"_blank\">@saintpeters.edu<\/a> email domain. The timing has been carefully chosen to impact our community as little as possible. Returning students will have a period of time to transition from one account to the other during the first few weeks of the fall term. If you are unsure if this includes you, please contact the service desk below.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>If you are a current student:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>You\u2019ll need to reset your password using\u00a0<a style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/reset.saintpeters.edu\/react\/\" target=\"_blank\">ReACT<\/a>\u00a0after this date in order to access your new account.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Any files hosted on your Google Drive, your Calendar, any mails you want to keep, in addition to contacts, Youtube videos, and much more, will need to be exported.<\/strong> Many of these items can be re-imported into your new account. text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.saintpeters.edu\/its\/documentation\/google-apps\/students-how-to-re-share-google-drive-after-the-transition\/\">Students \u2013 How to Re-Share Google Drive After the Transition<\/a><\/span>\u201d<strong>.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Between <span style=\"color: red;\">August 25 and September 30, 2016<\/span>, there will be a grace period during which both your <span style=\"color: red;\"><strong>@mail.saintpeters.edu<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0and <span style=\"color: red;\"><strong>@saintpeters.edu<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0accounts are available and accessible - it is highly recommended that, during that time, you follow the steps for migrating content over, start saving content to your <span style=\"color: red;\"><strong>@saintpeters.edu<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Google drive (and stop using the <span style=\"color: red;\"><strong>@mail.saintpeters.edu<\/strong><\/span> one) and set up forwarding. \u00a0Forwarding should link to\u00a0<a style=\"color: #0000ff;
