If so, then you should set that weekly appointment time.<\/li>\n<li>Does the course have a pass\/fail test at the end? If this is the case, the weekly<br \/>\nenforcement of skills can help you pass that test.<\/li>\n<li>Is the subject area one that you find especially challenging or a core course you have<br \/>\nhad difficulty with in the past? Weekly assistance is more suited to these situations<br \/>\nbecause you can build on the knowledge of the previous week\u2019s classes and tutorial<br \/>\nbefore moving forward to the next assignment.<\/li>\n<li>Do you only need assistance with specific chapters, skills, or concepts in a course? If this<br \/>\nis the case, it is better to drop in when those areas of the course are discussed.<br \/>\nAre you grasping course concepts but need some help when certain large projects or<br \/>\nresearch assignments are due? Dropping in for assistance would work for you in this<br \/>\ncase.<\/li>\n<li>Do you need only to review before tests? Perfect for drop-in assistance!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You may find in the same semester some courses where you want the weekly appointment and<br \/>\nsome where you only need to drop in.
