The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) projects job opportunities for many types of data analysts to increase by at least 19% from 2016 to 2026.<\/p>\n<h4>Skills Recommended to Succeed<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p2\">Data analysis<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Computer science<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Critical thinking<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Data interpretation and visualization<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Statistics<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Communication<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">Given data scientists are directly involved in solving business problems, they get to interact with the \u201cwho\u2019s who\u201d in the company they work for. In industry, data scientists often work together with C-level professionals, requiring strong communication, teamwork and presentation skills.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"> \u00a0<\/span>Our coursework and curriculum focuses on innovation and new knowledge (\u201cwhere there is data you are involved\u201d) and leads to a mindset of lifelong learning that encourages the culture of learning.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Graduates of the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence program will have career options that range from Data Analyst to Academic positions in any organization.
