Curriculum Overview<\/h3>

The curriculum is 66 graduate credits in total for Educational Leadership K-12.Students must have a Master of Arts or Master of Science degree in Education, from an accredited program, to enroll in the K-12 Ph.D. Students in the program take the same set of courses currently offered in the Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s University Ed.D. program and a set of 12 additional credits, generally concentrating on research and university teaching. This program is a total of 66 graduate credits.<\/p>

Â鶹ÊÓƵ\u2019s University will accept up to 15 credits in transfer for courses that are applicable and at a grade of B or better. All transfer credits must be from an accredited university. To be awarded the Ph.D. degree, students must complete the following within five years of first enrolling.<\/p>

K-12 Program Overview<\/h3>

The Doctor of Education Program (Ed.D.) or Ph.D. with a concentration in Educational Leadership \u2014 K-12, prepares current district and school administrators, educational leaders, and classroom teachers to take on district leadership roles in K through 12th grade settings and positions as faculty in higher education settings. The K-12 Ph.D. option includes 21 research credits, including dissertation writing courses.<\/p>
